Synopsis
A poetic portrayal of the hardships experienced by a small group of immigrants as they attempt to cross the border illegally.
Director Biography
Catalina Matamoros is a designer and animator from Bogota Colombia. She holds a BFA in Industrial Design from Universidad de los Andes, where she graduated in 2010. While doing her undergrad, she realiez about her passion for visual and communication design so during her school year she focused in developing her own style. Her first job was an internship as 2d animation assistant for the film “Little Voices” directed by Jairo Carrillo. There, she found that she could combine design and motion and decided to pursue a careers as a visual artist. She worked in several projects and learn differents parts of the production process for film and advertising. In 2013 she was accepted in the Animation master program at University of Southen California, so she decided to go back to school and learn animation. She recently graduated and lives in LA. Catalina’s hope is to become an independent artist.
