Synopsis

During the day of the dead celebration a mother and her child visit grandmother’s tomb to make an altar according to the tradition. However, they have a surprising visit by someone very special from the after life.

Director Biography – Alex Hermogens

Born in Mexico City, moved to San Diego California to study Literature at San Diego State University. Teaches creative writing at the San Diego Community College. Has been working in this film for the last 2 years.

Director Statement

This film recreates the beautiful belief of the Dia de Muertos. The talented cast includes Ariel-nominated Alicia Quinonez, the renowned Gisela Madrigal, and the wonderful dancer and performer Pita Zapot as “La Muerte.”
