Director Statement

Sunlit is a personal project that explores how we deal with loss and how certain places can continue to provide comfort through memory. Having lost my father recently, I wanted this project to touch on those feelings of hopelessness that overcome us while trying to move on. The film was shot entirely on location in Columbia, South Carolina.
