Director Statement

In 2019 after winning an Amazon Studios ALL VOICES Diversity contest prize, it told us there was a starved audience for this storytelling. Episode 1 Fake Mexicans is on pace to currently hit 1 million minutes streamed and we’d love the exposure for Episode 2 “The Salsa Chronicles” because we know our fans are still waiting for their show! Most importantly, it was a chance to give opportunities to other actresses who are my friends and loved the first episode. Working on our movie sets feel like working with family and as I continue to grow as filmmaker, hope to expand on that feeling of community. Thank you for the consideration.
