Director Statement

What happens at the neighbor’s house can be a source of constant speculation. We’ve all been there. Distant noises, muffled conversations out of context, cropped images seen
through windows, any partial fragment can arise our curiosity and spark our desire for getting the full picture.
Something in the Garden is about that desire. It’s a vouyeuristic film in which darkness serves as a source of unease and as a hook for our curiosity. It is a take on curiosity itself and it’s possible (and impossible) consequences.
