Synopsis
After the death of his grandfather, the executive creative director of a high-end advertising agency must pick between the life he loves and the person he wants to be — side effects may include: loss of erection, enlarged success, and broken hearts.
Director Biography – Leonardo SantaitiLeonardo Santaiti an LA-based actor, writer, director, producer, and editor. Born first-generation, Leonardo strongly identifies with his Italian-Argentine heritage, finding much of his story-telling inspiration from large family dinners filled with plenty of food, songs, and stories. Under his production company, Santitan Studios, Leonardo produced, directed, and performed in award-winning shorts such as Forgive Me Father and Pony Up (WINNER Best Ensemble, Official Latino Festival). His favorite acting credits include The Divergent Series: Insurgent (Lionsgate), The Divergent Series: Allegiant (Lionsgate), Sleepless (starring Jamie Foxx), Birds of Prey: Harley Quinn (Warner Bros), Madden NFL 18: Longshot (EA Sports), Madden NFL 19: Long Shot Homecoming (EA Sports), and AMERICAN DAD! His last words sparked the realization of my purpose — to tell meaningful stories that ignite others to take those leaps of faith, achieve every dream, and trust in the beauty of their choices.
My relationship with my hard-working grandfather motivated me to tell this story with the following questions in mind: Is it possible to maintain your moral compass while building a successful life in our present-day society? Are the choices we make truly authentic to ourselves or fed to us by consumerism? And, what if the career you invested your entire life into was the root cause of suffering?
