MUMU is an argentine duo of directors formed by the brothers Matias & Tomas Maumus. Together they directed the short films KUKOČ (2017) and CUERO (2020). Matias studied at NYU Tisch and Tomás did the same at Universidad del Cine (Buenos Aires).
Paraclete marks our most ambitious project to date. We wanted to condense everything we have been learning and experiencing in recent years and tell a very simple but profound parable. It’s mainly about disappointment, lies, faith and religious stories we have been told as children.
