Synopsis
Pandemic and Chill is a comedy about the misery of dating during the pandemic. The series follows Carla, a single “bad bitch” in her prime, who finds herself utterly alone in quarantine. She resorts to trying all kinds of weird ways to meet someone, just so she can get a little TLC (and some D). In this episode, Carla goes on her first in-person date with a guy she met from a dating app.
Director Biography – Angelina VillapianoAngelina Villapiano, aka “Miss Angelina”, is a Boricua artist and producer from New Jersey. She currently lives in San Juan, Puerto Rico where she runs Nueva Productions, an entertainment company that creates music videos, web series, and short films. Her most recent project, the web series “Pandemic and Chill”, features a 100% Boricua cast and crew. Her work has been seen on the television programs “American Latino” and “The Juice”, and streamed in partnership with John Leguizamo’s NGL Media. She’s a participant in the National Hispanic Media Coalition’s “Latinx Stream Showcase”, and a recipient of the National Association of Latino Independent Producers’ “Emerging Content Creator Scholarship”.
