Synopsis

The vast agricultural area near Yuma, Arizona is the land of plenty for nearly all the leafy vegetables Americans enjoy across the country in the winter months. For the people who work the fields to grow food for us all, the Colorado River represents not only their livelihood, but engages a deep, spiritual connection as well. But the river is overtapped, stressed, and is a mere trickle of it’s original grandeur, and this spiritual community is responding by standing up for the river. This film is a beautiful, gracious look at the area’s Latino evangelical community and their humble connection to the Colorado River.
