Director Biography – Lisann Valentin
Lisann Valentin is a Brooklyn-based actress, writer and director.
A passionate storyteller, her contribution to the New York Times best-selling anthology Eat Pray Love Made Me Do It, sheds light on Lisann’s journey as a lawyer-turned-actress and the courage it takes to chase your dreams.
Soon after leaving the practice of law, she made her directorial debut with her first short film, which earned several laurels on the film festival circuit and ignited her passion for storytelling through film.
“To make an audience laugh or cry; to get them to look at life from a different perspective; or to allow them to feel a little less alone in the world is a privilege and a blessing,” says Valentin.
So whether she’s writing, filmmaking or starring in film and TV, she’s eternally grateful to have embraced her calling as a storyteller.
