Synopsis

Six women share their journeys transitioning from relaxed to natural hair, a true labor of love many women in the African diaspora are familiar with. The tales are tied together with a curl-celebrating fashion shoot directed by AGCreativ.

Director Biography – Michelle Martinez

Michelle Martinez is a writer, director, and actress who aspires to tell compelling stories through various platforms, her primary focus being film. Michelle earned her BFA in Filmmaking degree from Montclair State University in her home state of New Jersey. Since graduating, she has worked in various departments for film and television productions, produced and directed short films, and she continues to train in acting.
