Director Biography – Eugenia Renteria
Eugenia is a filmmaker and educator. Born and raised in a rural community in Zacatecas, Mexico, she moved to California when she was 12 years old and that’s when her interest in filmmaking started. She attended CSU Monterey Bay and graduated with a B.A. in Cinematic Arts & Technology. Eugenia founded her production company Inspira Studios in 2016 and has been producing films since then. As a director, her work has screened at Official Latino, Poppy Jasper International Film Festival, Watsonville Film Festival and others.
