Fermín de la Serna (29) is an eclectic director, photographer and entrepreneur. He is the founder of the production company “Climax” and of the magazine “La Brújula” which has been published in Buenos Aires for over 9 years. He is also the Co-Founder and Creative Director of “Presence”, a Virtual Reality production company. He studied Image and Sound Design at the University of Buenos Aires and participated in several film productions over the past few years. He worked as a creative director and assistant director on series and projects for Netflix, Turner and Fox.
In 2017 he directed “La entrevista” which has been awarded six times as best international short film and was presented over twenty film festivals. Moreover, “La entrevista” was chosen to represent Argentina in the Festival the Huelva Cine Iberoamericano. It was also selected among the best five projects in the “Best of Latin America” with screenings in the city of Los Angeles.
He is currently filming his first feature film in the Peruvian Amazon with the support of INCAA (Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts of Argentina)
