Synopsis

After several unsuccessful attempts, Raul finally gets the courage to ask his co-worker, Rosa, out on a date. To his surprise, she says yes, but when the anticipated day arrives, Raul is met with an unforeseen event that changes his life forever.

Director Biography – Darwin Serink

Darwin Serink is a Canadian/American Filmmaker currently living in Los Angeles. With an extensive career working in Post Production as an editor and visual effects artist, El Aguacate is Darwin’s third short film. His second award winning film, Aban + Khorshid, screened at over sixty film festivals world wide. Darwin’s focus is on telling stories that have a social impact. His passion for making films is out of a desire to inspire and inform our world through entertainment. Darwin received a BFA in Film from Art Center College of Design in California and studied at UCLA’s Professional Screenwriters Program.
