Latino Heritage
My family three splits up into two half’s: one half being American and the other being Mexican. I was born in El Paso, Texas but was raised in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico where I spent 15 years of my life before coming back to continue my studies in the United States. El Paso & Juarez are very cultural in diversity with Mexico and I was surely raised with strong hispanic values and traditions. My Hispanic background has definitely reflected on the way I direct my short films because of the strong characters, controversial & inspirational settings which my films go on to show. My mother has always being a strong independent Mexican woman and she has raised me to keep fighting for what we want in life and never giving up our dreams; to live life doing what we want to do and doing it right.
