Montevideo,1990s.Clare is a girl victim of bullying who has never been invited to a birthday party. She watches some classmates hand out birthday cards in the playground to several girls and boys… but not to her.This time something is going to change. A hairdresser gives her a special hair- style for the occasion and her mother fixes a dress she’s never had the chance to wear beofre. Clare wants to know what it feels like to attend a birthday party, and thanks to her creativity and imagination she is going to find out.
