Director Statement

I am making this film because I sympathize with the plight of the American immigrant. I’ve seen it first hand during my time living in Texas border town and Los Angeles and I know how important it is for families to stay together. And I know how much we need to laugh in these harsh times. So “Hollywood Latinos” is a comedy about a cat and mouse game between and injured an ICE agent and a Dreamer. The right choice isn’t always the best one and “Hollywood Latinos” explores that topic. Do we help our enemies when they’re down, or do we use it to their advantage? Are they even our enemies? This comedy explores the relationships between a potential uprooting and the good natured souls that makes us all Dreamers.
