Synopsis

“B” is a native New Yorker trying to find her voice while constantly navigating the absurd sexist and racist encounters that come with being a woman of color living in Brooklyn, NY.

Director’s Biography

Becca Beberaggi is tiny brown human, comedian, NYC native and the writer/creator of, “B-SIDES”, which has been screened at Channel 101 in LA and is an official selection in The New York Lift Off Festival, IndieFest 2018 and now The Official Latino Short Film Festival!

Previously serving as the Assistant Comedy Producer and host for Comedy Night at Paste Magazine, Becca, currently produces and hosts a bi-monthly comedy show at Union Hall called, “So Many Problems”, which is listed in Time Out NY’s “Best Comedy Shows By Women in NYC” . She has also appeared at The Brooklyn Comedy Festival, The Finger Lakes Comedy Festival, Speak Up, Rise Up and She Makes Me laugh Femme Fest. Her solo show “I laugh To Keep From Crying” (about that time she lived with Nuns) received a limited run at The Tank’s Off Broadway Theatre Space in February 2018. Time Out NY called it”Heartfelt—and very funny—journey to self love.”
