Synopsis
Ine and her husband wait in Cuba as they look through old photographs and wonder what their son looks like now. Toñin moved to Spain in search of opportunities and as the years go by, they wonder if they will see their son again. Something unexpected happens.
Director’s Biography
Alexandra is a Spanish-American Filmmaker who spends the majority of her time in the field, making her style highly relatable, raw and intimate. She has covered a wide range of stories, including indigenous communities in Central America and Women’s Rights in Morocco. Her most recent short documentary, Afar (Cuba, 2018), which she directed, produced, shot and edited, has been awarded in 11 film festivals and was shown at Cannes Short Film Corner.
