Set in the near-future, a Latino comes home one day to discover he’s been replaced by a “whiter” version of himself.
Chris Sturgeon is an actor/writer/director hailing from the great state of Texas. Chris has been writing and performing comedy for over ten years in some way, shape or form since taking his first improv class in Austin, where he also attended college at the University of Texas, majoring in Theater and Radio-TV-Film.
Chris’ previous short “COUPLES: Movie Night,” which he wrote and starred in, was a finalist in the 2017 NBC Shorts Festival. He was also a writer for the 2015 and 2016 CBS Diversity Comedy showcase.
Outside of writing and performing, Chris maintains a day job in entertainment industry. He got his start in the NBC Page Program which led to a job at NBC’s Digital Studio. He most recently worked as Director of Development at Ryan Seacrest Productions where he helped develop, package and sell TV shows under the world renowned host’s name and brand. Chris now works as a writer’s assistant on The Gong Show with Mike Myers.
